Terms and Conditions
Please ensure you read the Terms & Conditions set out below prior to booking holidays at Wixoldbury Farm :
Deposit/ Cancellation/insurance
A deposit of 25% of the total cost of your holiday is payable at the time of your booking and the full balance 4 weeks before your stay is due to commence. Reservations which are cancelled 10 weeks in advance of your stay will be fully refundable less our payment provider’s fees. Any cancellations made after this time are non-refundable. Bookings made via 3rd party booking websites will be subject to those terms and conditions.
We recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance. In the event of severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances, Wixoldbury Farm Glamping reserves the right to reschedule any booking to another date of equivalent value on a date which is convenient to you.
Age restrictions
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and guests must be 18 years or older to book without a parent/legal guardian.
Liabilities
Please remember that you are staying on a farm with animals and other hazards. Please ensure children are supervised at all times and do not access restricted areas. Please adhere to all signage/instructions around the farm. Please read the health & safety information within your accommodation.
Number of guests per property
The maximum number of guests permitted in each of the accommodation must not exceed the number stated when booking. We reserve the right to decline accommodation and to ask any unauthorised person to leave the premises. Two adults only per shepherd hut/roundhouse.
Damage, breakages and lost keys
We have taken time and expense in providing you with comfortable accommodation. We therefore ask that care be taken whilst staying in our accommodation. However we appreciate that accidental damage may occur. As such accidental damage of a minor nature will not formally be charged for. However, we reserve the right to ask for payment for more significant items or damage and breakages.
Please ensure that the water proof protectors provided are used for sofa beds at all times. Should the sofa’s be damaged, we reserve the right to seek the cost of cleaning or, if necessary, replacement.
We would try to discourage any glass out on the open grass areas as this will be difficult to detect if there are any breakages. If there are any breakages please inform us immediately.
Loss keys will be charges at £50 given the locks will have to be changed for safety reasons.
Complaints
Please let us know immediately if you are unhappy with anything during your stay and we will try to resolve any issues where we are able to.
Pets
Unfortunately no animals are permitted on the site due to the fact that we are a working farm and for the comfort of other guests.
Bicycles
Guests are welcome to bring bicycles but please ensure these are left secure and locked as we cannot be responsible for damage to theft whilst on the property. Please do not take bicycles inside the accommodation.
Ball games
We are happy for you to play soft ball games on the open area but no hard cricket balls are permitted. Please refrain from interfering with other guest’s enjoyment.
Drones
Drones are not permitted on Wixoldbury Farm.
Fireworks/Chinese lanterns/foil balloons
These are not permitted on Wixoldbury Farm.
Day visitors
Unfortunately, we do not allow day visitors due to the size of the site.
Group Bookings
We allow group bookings of families and couples but do not allow single sex groups such as stags or hens. Any group wishing to have exclusive use of the site will need to book all five glamping pods. Further, we do not allow parties to book four out of the five glamping pods. Any groups of four will need to book all five glamping pods. We reserve the right to decline/cancel any such bookings.
Arrival and Departure
Bookings are from 3pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure.
Please could we ask that you leave your accommodation clean and tidy when you leave ensuring all dishes are washed.
We reserve the right to gain access with prior notice for the purpose of maintenance and inspection if it is necessary.
Recycling
Please leave your rubbish and recycling in the aluminium bins provided next to your properties.
Noise/music
We would appreciate no loud noise after 10pm out of consideration for our other guests. We also do not allow music outside of the pods for the enjoyment of our other guests and in case there are young children sleeping. Please respect the enjoyment of other guests and refrain from making too much noise outside the pods or in the BBQ shack. Also, please allow other guests to sleep in the morning and refrain from too much noise until after 8am.
If repeated requests to refrain from making noise are ignored we reserve the right to ask you to leave. No refunds will be made in these circumstances.
BBQ, log burner and fire pit
We sell wood for the log burner, fire pit and charcoal for the BBQ. Alternatively you can bring your own charcoal.
Vehicles
Vehicles are not permitted on the glamping site itself. Trollies are provided in the parking area to transport your luggage the short distance to the glamping area.
Behaviour
We reserve the right to ask any guests to leave in the event of any level of unacceptable behaviour which causes disruption to our other guests.
All properties are non smoking, which includes the decking area. If you do wish to smoke on the glamping site, please could you ensure that you dispose of your cigarette ends responsibly.
No naked flames are permitted inside the accommodation.
Please ensure supervision of your children at all times and do not allow them to access unauthorised area.
Please be kind and considerate to our animals and do not make loud noises or scare them in any way.
On leaving, please leave your accommodation tidy with all dishes, glasses etc washed and put away.
